"The building looks lovely from the outside, however there was some niggling problems, no staff to meet and greet or issue keys and rooms, just email instructions to use door key fob for access to the building and rooms, quite steep stairs especially for us who struggle with stairs, in my room, the toilet seat was loose to sit on, single bed wasn't very comfortable and duvet barely covered the bed"

"I had a very nice stay at the Open Arms Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The room was first class with a view over the village green and very comfortable. The lounge area with the open fire is lovely and relaxing being able to have a pre- dinner drink and review the menu. It was a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning again in the very near future."

"Very dated and scruffy. Mould on window wood. Holes in curtain. Toilet needing bleach Soundproofing non existent- could hear neighbours’ conversations and coughing through night. "We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive. This is a small village hotel not a chain. Service reflected that, nice and attentive...

"Extremely clean 3 bedroom caravan in a lovely woodland setting next to the coast. Friendly host who ensured that we had all that we needed for a really enjoyable stay. Would recommend for families. "
