"What a lovely place! Spotless, well appointed room with simple, fresh decor. Bathroom also nicely done, with fabulous fluffy towels. Breakfast was super tasty with a great selection of options. And the hosts are really lovely; helpful and friendly without being overly attentive. Not far from either Torquay and Torre stations so great for those not using a car, though parking was also available. Highly recommend and will be staying again next time I’m down in Torquay."

"The staff at this hotel were so friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is in a fantastic location - just minutes from the beach and short walk to the town centre. The bus route allowed us to get to all attractions easily, and the hotel has a lovely park with mini golf next door. The pool is tad small at probably about 10-12 metres, and the Sian and steam room not that hot but still good to have the facilities. Also worth noting that many older generation (retired) people use this hotel, so not...

"Everything you could ask for. Easy and welcoming at check-in. Nothing was too much trouble. Clean and well appointed rooms. An excellent breakfast, couldn’t fault it. Also a great location, just 50mtr from the train station and bus stop."

"What a fantastic hotel , we stayed in the room with a balcony with a brilliant view. This hotel comes with an outside heated swimming pool towels provide and planty of outside sitting to enjoy the sun . free parking , a slow 10 minute stroll to the sea front Breakfast was very nice and the hosts was very friendly and welcoming .would definitely recommend this beautiful place"

The location is great - literally around the corner from Torre Abbey, gardens, and the beach, marina and high street are not too far also."

"We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. "The public rooms were in good condition but rather dated, reflecting the hotel's ostentatious history. The corridors and fire doors to the rooms were in poor condition, some damaged paint, wallpaper and carpet. The room was small and dated but clean with plenty of storage. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast offered a great choice. Whilst it is becoming increasingly common, as a hotel guest, I don't like paying extra to park my car."
