"Friendly staff, quick check in, easy parking. Room was clean and comfortable. Easy access to Bear Mountain. Nice restaurant. No elevator in Overlook Lodge so a few trips required to bring luggage upstairs."

"The room was decent. Clean and comfortable bed. Quiet. Rusty, leaning floor lamp in corner of bedroom. Decent value. The bathroom was not in great condition. Damaged ceiling tile over the shower from second floor. Empty shampoo conditioner mounted on shower wall. Very sparce continental breakfast."

"There are several things that need updating, and a few need repair. The faucet in the bathroom sink was quite loose, not sitting tight against the sink itself, and I could find no way to tighten it. There was no leakage, but it was a bit disconcerting. The towel bar came apart; I was able to put it back together. The owner came out to offer to switch my room based on my earlier comments about there not being a table/desk or chair so I could set up my computer. I declined the switch because I had already settled into the room and had managed to set my computer up on one of the nightstands. Yes, a chair would have been great, but I made do with what I had. Overall, the room was clean, which was the most important thing to me. I would stay there again."
