"This was a third stay. Good hotel, within reasonable walking distance of Ross-on-Wye & well situated for exploring the surrounding countryside & towns. Great to have on-site parking. Owners are friendly & helpful. Appreciate being able to book a single room.Clearly marked emergency exits. Both rooms previously stayed in were up steep, narrow stairs. Didn't find these a problem, but vsitors with mobility difficulties would be advised to check accessibility with the owners before booking."

"The venue is currently set up for youth residential events so it doesn't have hotel facilities. Our room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom, but it would have benefited from a few extra amenities. Still, the staff were friendly and welcoming, we absolutely loved the estate and we look forward to visiting again soon. It's a great place for families who enjoy outdoor activities. I enjoyed a delicious Indian breakfast which made a nice change, and my daughter enjoyed her...

WE HAD TO SLEEP IN OUR CAR OVER NIGHT AND WE GOT A PARKING TICKET TO BOOT! I WAS TOLD THAT THIS HAPPENS ALOT WITH BOOKING THROUGH EXPEDIA. WOULD LIKE AN EMAIL TO DISCUSS GETTING REFUND AND COST OF THE TICKET."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our four night visit to Stable Lodge - lovely, clean rooms and the property is in a nice quiet setting which is great after a busy day doing "tourist stuff" in the Cotswolds. Mark and Mona were great hosts. Thanks also to Andy for the great breakfasts (and chats) and to Mark's Mom Sarah who was visiting and helped us with a dinner reservation when we were having trouble with our phones!!"

"It is a lovely little hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is excellent for Hereford just 7 minutes away. All less than 45 mins. away. Also some of the Black and White villages north of the City. Would definitely recommend this hotel and also a trip to...

"1. There were many dead bees to start off with 2. Bedside lamps didn’t even work so we had to sleep with the main light on. 3. The pressure of the sink in the toilet was disastrous as it was too high and would go everywhere and the water kept turning on and off . 4. The main light kept flickering. 5. There was also no staff in the property and when we faced some problems in the night and we weren’t comfortable to phone them in the night ."
