"Check in for the apartment was at The Lisbon Wine Hotel next door. We were able to leave our luggage until we could gain access as we had arrived early. Staff at the hotel (both reception and bar staff) were really friendly and helpful and we were even offered a complimentary check-in wine/beer which was a lovely touch. "Casa Balthazar was fantastic. We stayed in 6 apartments or hotels over a 2 1/2 week vacation and Casa Balthazar was the best. We tend to book higher end stays. Once you find this boutique hotel, you will walk into a lovely isolated place. The staff were so friendly and the rooms were great. Breakfast was so good - don’t skip the Pastel De Nata!! The hotel is an easy walk to the sites, restaurants and shopping. We would stay again when we come back!"
