"We stayed at Casa 63 off Mesones for a birthday weekend getaway. The hotel sits just north of the center, right across the street, so everything is within easy walking distance.
Caesar and Jesus were incredibly helpful. They arranged our airport pickup and drop-off and booked our tours, and when plans didn’t go according to schedule, they quickly came up with alternatives.
We stayed in a room in the interior of the building, and it was very clean. The bed was firm, with just enough cushion to...

"Room was nicely appointed, but showing its age on some minor items.
Cleanliness and daily services were really good, Only negative comment was the cleanliness of outdoor tub area was weak. Granted, this could be a challenging area to maintain.
Check in desk staff the first few days of our stay appeared more interested in their phones then any guest passing by. But staff changed last day to some of the most outstanding service you could expect. We could always get what we needed, but the front...

"Mal mantenido, olor a drenaje en el pasillo… pésimas almohadas. Reservan para grupos de adolescentes que hacen ruido toda la noche azotando puertas, corriendo en los pasillos, gritando y “acampando” en los pasillos en vez de permanecer en sus cuatros.
La gerencia del hotel no ha llegado al hotel a las 10:00 am en un sábado
Personal insolente.
Las toallas viejas y chicas.
Muy mal"

"Charming Hotel in a Perfect Location!
I absolutely loved the location of Hotel Carmina! It’s close enough to the city center to easily enjoy everything San Miguel de Allende has to offer, yet tucked away enough that you can retreat to your room whenever you need a little break from exploring.
The hotel is full of old-world charm and character, which makes it feel like a special part of the San Miguel experience. I especially loved the handmade toiletries, including the shampoo, conditioner, and...
