"This hotel has two separate buildings—one that has been updated and another that is very old and outdated. Unfortunately, we were placed in the older building, and it was a huge disappointment. "We used almost all amenities while staying here: the locker room, lap pool, fitness center, business center, and restaurants. The staff was wonderful, the food delicious, the pools were great to use for my morning swim. We would stay again. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't get any WIFI connection in our room, even our phones said "emergency calls only"- so if you stay at the end of the hall with rooms 200, be aware you may not have service."

The location is also only 1.5 miles from riverside park and downtown. The room was remodeled well! We had so much room for our family of five. "The property was in great condition. It appeared to be no more than a few years old when in fact it's probably 15-20 years old. I was told it was the newest hotel in Cortez. The double-queen room we stayed in was fantastic. None of that crusty carpet, it was hardwood. It was clean and the kitchen area near the door had larger countertops.
