I didn’t stay at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel. I traveled back home because the Governor of South Carolina declared a State of Emergency and told us to not travel on any roads because of the expected snow.
I am from out of state and had to reschedule my flight back in order to leave the state of SC. I explained this to the Courtyard by Marriott and they said I needed to explain my case to Expedia.
Expedia confirmed that the hotel was only able to refund me for one night (not 2 nights) even though I was physically unable to get there because of the snow.
I am a repeat customer at the Marriott and all I am asking for is a refund for both nights. Expedia had said that Marriott should be able to approve this.
I ended up catching a flight on Friday, so I could avoid the airline cancellations for Sat/Sunday. But yet Courtyard by Marriott on Assembly still had to charge me for that night, even though I could not physically get there.
Please make this right. Thank you so much.
