"Excellent breakfast "

"The hotel and furniture looks outdated. It is in need of a severe upgrade. The cleanliness of our room was questionable and the carpet looked dingy. Our toilet had to be repaired. The elevator was out of commission for several hours. My husband is a heart patient. As a result of the elevator being repaired he was forced to walk up several flights of stairs to our room. I was also charged two different rates for our hotel stay. "

"This place was sketchy. I stayed in a sweet that was almost empty. It looked like someone try to break into the room before. I would NOT bring children to this property, the clientele were rough looking at best. Had homeless people by the entrance and exit. Staff was great, but would definitely not recommend."

"Upon arriving at the property, it looked relatively clean and presentable. When we got to the room on the other hand, there was dirty Q-tips and miscellaneous items behind the furniture and under the bed. Good morning we got ready to leave. We check in the refrigerator. Make sure we didn’t leave anything in it and there was a bag of marijuana in the freezer not to mention of roaches everywhere. So if you wanna go get carried away in a sonic boom high roaches, this is a place to stay."

"this is a safe feeling area for the down town location. we loved the furnished kitchen and full refrigerator -and the breakfast was excellent! lots of parking -even for our trailers. "

"Elevators on the main floor were not working. Apparently from what we were told they have been out of service for over a month. Room was comfortable and clean. Rust on wall in shower. Very friendly and helpful staff at check in."

"As soon as we walked in the lady on night shift made us feel very welcome. On my travels, I finally got my king size bed at this hotel. When we walked into the room we noticed right off the full kitchen with dishes included. We wished we had found something like this in Fort Worth, Texas the few days we were there. Free parking as well. We were very pleased and pleasantly surprised. "

"We had stayed at a different hotel the night before (when this location was sold out) and it was less than ideal. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on the Marriott property and took away so much stress from what had been a pretty hectic arrival into Shreveport. Mercedes at the front desk was absolutely amazing in helping get our room prepared and secured early for us, answer questions and making sure we had everything we needed. "Workers were friendly but there is a need for valet parking. The gentleman that assisted was with our luggage to our room was outstanding. We think his name was Jraig the bellman. Very professional. "

"There’s a few spots to eat nearby Whataburger McDonald’s Subway but there’s things if you’re willing to drive a few miles down the road. Boardwalk should be taken off as a scenery because more than half of the stores are closed."
