"Overall, the stay was fine. However, we did have a couple pretty big issues. First, we could not check in without paying an additional amount of money for a cleaning deposit? That is terrible business and very shady. We stood outside the place for like 20 minutes, waiting to pay this surprise fee and then be granted access inside. The shower is so comically small. It was almost impossible to shower in there. We spent every minute that we had of ‘down’ time on the bed because the couch was...

"We stayed in a king room on the 12th floor and this property could use some attention. There were stains on the carpet, our ceiling had leaked at some point and had a really bad patch job done and pieces from the ceiling were coming off. The frame around our closet door was broken and part of the mirror frame in the bathroom was broken. We decided to swim in the pool and the pool was warm, which we enjoyed, but there was a ton of hair and debris around the handicap chair lift. This can be seen...

"Slightly over priced and breakfast wasn't included.. I've heard a lot about Aloft properties so I decided to try th out. They need to pay more attention to the bathroom design. No ledges nor shelving to hold your personal shower items. I had to leave the shower door open
and grab my items from the nearby toilet seat that I had to cover with a towel."

"First - if you are a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you. This hotel's construction is a touch lightweight - we could hear footsteps on floor above & TV in room next door.
But, if you don't mind all that - this is an outstanding option.
The hotel is very convenient - quick to OSU/Wexner, & nestled in a terrific retail neighborhood (Whole Foods, Original Pancake House, etc.. with the excellent Brassica nearby).
Staff is extraordinarily friendly & helpful.
Room is nothing fancy, but...
