Parts of the exterior of one wing in need of some cosmetic attention but the rest of the facade of this massive, rambling property not at all bad and the interiors good. "Very clean and lovely large room. Nice views overlooking the canal. Pretty quiet considering the proximity of the main road. Entering the Shower was a faff as the door didn't open wide enough and kept falling off it's rails. Food service and quality left a little to be desired. Not cooked very well and want asked if everything was OK with our meal and Not offered a dessert menu when sent main course back...?? Would recommend staying but will eat elsewhere if we stay again..? "
