Food in the restaurant was excellent too. I recommend the hanging seafood kebab. We attended a family event in the on-site function room and this was well catered. "We stayed in a room at the rear of the property. It is clean, but very dated bathroom, decor, upholstery and carpet. Really needs a complete renovation. It was a very hot evening and a ceiling fan would be useful because there is not a lot of room in the accommodation for a free standing fan. The sun is on the room all day. Food excellent and staff very courteous."

"This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay ."

"I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA!
