"Nice weekend getaway. Tranquil, older, compact apartment feel. Very clean, two story, 1st level covered parking for patrons. There is a huge public veranda on both floors, front side of building, big , comfy furniture to sit in and feel the constant sea breeze blowing in from the ocean front, just a few streets down.This ia also an extended stay, check rates. Plenty to do on Beaufort , waterfront, tour the historic area, all within an extended walk around the town. Very safe, can walk around anytime of night and nobody bothers you, police patrol to keep trouble away. Low key, town closes down after about 11pm, there are a couple bars that do 2am close. Great beaches, great fishing. This place welcomes pets! Small nightly fee. We will definitely return."
