"Hoped to stay in old part, not quite the same atmosphere in newer section! Toilet was dirty and mud on floor on arrival. Ordered cheese pasty and got a meat one! Too late to change. Fish and chips were excellent, small portion plenty for each of us. A lovely place to stay, recommend read Daphne DuMauriers book. Great position to explore both coast lines. "

"I really wanted to like the Camelot, and wasn’t expecting it to be high spec or anything, but was mostly really put off by two things: the bedding was quite scratchy, and the bathroom was a complete shock. Pros: large family room, lovely sea view, staff were friendly and helpful on the few occasions I spoke to them, and when we had an issue with the bathroom they accommodated us by allowing us to use a bath in an empty room. "Staff helpful and friendly, breakfast was nice and enough choice for us, dinner was really nice and good value and the room was clean but just needed a bit of extra attention in the bathroom. But for the price paid and location we were more than happy."

"This was our favorite place to stay in the UK so far. The room was spacious and clean, and the included breakfast excellent. The pub offered drink and food specials that helped us stay in budget- and were of excellent quality. The location is easily walkable to Port Issac and local walking trails. We highly recommend the Port Gaverne! "

"Wow, thank you to Sue and her team, Sally, Sal and Will. What a warm welcome! We had such a lovely time with you all. A well run, friendly and warm spirited pub and B&B. The drinks were cold, and flowed easily and the food second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay. No wonder the local patrons enjoy spending their down time with you!"

"Es war wirklich nicht zu empfehlen, sehr schmutzige Teppichböden, kein extra Bett oder Bettdecke für mein Kind, obwohl das Hotel wusste, dass wir zu dritt sind. Das schlimmste waren aber einfach die total schmutzigen Fußböden. Einfach ekelhaft. Wir haben über 200 eur gezahlt. Es ist eine Frechheit. "

"We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the 'Nauti' Shepherd's hut. It was so cosy, warm, clean and immaculately presented. The bed was super comfortable and everything we could have needed was provided. A great location, with a peaceful and relaxing countryside setting. Great communication from the hosts. We will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommended for a cornish get away. "

"Room could have been cleaner. Hair in tub still, fingernail clipping behind door. Restaurant was very busy and we needed reservations to eat. Was not pointed out upon arrival. Restaurant ran out of some menu items by the time we could eat. Food was meh. This hotel is farther away from city center and to get to more eating places is about 20 minute walk. Good for getting in and out of each day, not good for food when we got back. Breakfast was ok, but they were slow to replace items that...

"The hut was in a gorgeous location with sheep as neighbours. It was super cosy and comfortable and had all that we needed. Sat outside in the sun having our brekkie was lovely. The hot tub was great but took ages to heat up, maybe as it was a bit damp. We had a lovely time :) "
