"Booked this hotel for our engagement celebration. Started off not so great as there were significant differences in what was booked (interior garden view vs where the room was (exterior parking lot view). Was told the balcony on our room was the “garden view.” Then was told the balcony “equaled” the garden view - Was almost surreal. Initially we did not get any reasonable solution and was told to check back in the morning. Had to ask several times for an explanation and solution. My guess is...
"We really wanted to love this place. Everyone we encountered working was lovely— when we got service from them.
We had dinner plans in the evening and when we needed to iron garments, we realized we had an iron but no ironing board. We called for one to be brought up and were told it would be 10-20 minutes. At 25 minutes, we called again. They finally brought one up and we only just made our reservation.
We took the do not disturb sign off the door in the morning and didn’t receive turndown...
"I never received the prosecco that was supposed to be in our room when we arrived until I called three times. The phones didn’t work in the rooms and air conditioner was soo loud and annoying. The pools were both packed and not one chair available. Overall we were sadly disappointed."
