Farmstay in Corrèze

Spacious room with excellent en-suite facilities. Generous and varied breakfast. Electric car charging station. Out standing hosts, would happily return in the future.

I can't fault L'Ajasserie - I visited last year under the previous owner and, if anything, it's improved already under its new owner and she's only just getting started. I felt completely welcome and catered for, and treated as an individual rather than a number on a balance-sheet. Top marks.

What a lovely hotel to stay for a few days and explore the local area. Our room was very clean and comfortable with aircon and a minibar. The pool area was stunning and a perfect place to cool down in the recent heatwave. Christine was so welcoming and suggested different places to visit whilst we were there. Yes it’s up a hill but really not too bad to walk back up from the town if you take it steady. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarlat.

Absolutely idyllic location, surrounded by greenery with a view down to the lake. Large room in the old part of the castle was clean and beautifully furnished with a large bathroom. The pool is situated in a peaceful part of the grounds and was very relaxed spot to stay with a book. The owners were very helpful and welcoming - we ordered chilled wine on the terrace and a lovely breakfast the next day. Highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is amassing, down side the bar closed at 9:30pm and the pool at 8:30 The botells of water in the room should be offered for free on a daily base and not just on arrival. Rooms are large, big bathroom, very clean and air-conditioning... very important when its 39c outside.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff and lovely town. Only let down was Expedia who said the booking included ‘free parking’, it didn’t!

We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being mixed. The spa was a lovely treat when sitting by the pool wasn’t appealing - although make sure you book your hour as it fills up quickly. We had a lovely evening in the bar with music and tapas - it was meant to be in the rose garden but equally lovely. Great place to stay we used it as a base for a 7 day holiday, it is in a very good situation at the top of Rocamador. good breakfast (worth the extra) - all the usual - croissants, breads, cakes, cheese, meats, scrambled egg & bacon, cereal, fruit (dried & fresh) even Earl Grey Tea available! Walk along the top to the Chateaux to eat or walk the other way for more restaurants + shops, or walk / take lift down to the main town (We walked every time) warning if you need the lift it stops early -...

Agnes was amazing. Phoned ahead to say we would be delayed and arrive after front desk closed. Quickly sent a text to me detailing room no. Room code and wi-fi code. Took pressure off us on our late flight. Next morning she gave us some free coffees as we missed breakfast. A bubbly super friendly and helpful lady. Directions, iron borrowing etc. Room clean quiet cool (41 degrees outside!) Cleaning staff all running around motivated and efficient. Thoroughly recommended.

Perfectly placed hotel in the middle of a lovely town. Clean, great staff, good beer, pool table and great bacon at breakfast. Will be back soon!
