Lovely location with stunning views. Large bright room with good bathroom. Good restaurant across the road. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would recommend.
Absolutely idyllic location, surrounded by greenery with a view down to the lake. Large room in the old part of the castle was clean and beautifully furnished with a large bathroom. The pool is situated in a peaceful part of the grounds and was very relaxed spot to stay with a book.
The owners were very helpful and welcoming - we ordered chilled wine on the terrace and a lovely breakfast the next day. Highly recommend staying here.
Truly an amazing place to stay. If you want to stay in a very old hotel, you will not be able to beat this, maybe 800-900 years old? They have put a lot of effort into updating this place to make it work as a hotel. The only effort that was lacking (maybe my view because I'm American) was that the room didn't have AC. Also, there were no screens in the windows, so when opened them, we attracted bugs. We were there during a very hot week in the south of France. We brought our own fans (they provided one fan) which made it bearable. The outdoor pool setting was outstanding overlooking the nearby lake. Would I stay there again - certainly.
