"There are several cafes very near the property, and public pay parking is just around the corner, about 5-10 min walk. The hotel has a nice petite déjeuner for breakfast. You can walk fairly easily from the train station, about 30-45 min walk downhill, but I would take a taxi back, when leaving, although it can be done. The hotel is in a nice area."

"Absolutely stunning hotel in every way. Superb staff, huge room with really comfortable beds, fabulous views, excellent food. We were a group of 5 and spent 4 nights and would have loved more. The setting is gorgeous, with extensive terraces for lounging around and eating dinner. There's a wonderful heated swimming pool and a tennis court. "Very nice hotel in Brive. Note that while they have a small private parking area you have to reserve in advance. It wasn’t obvious and when I got there the parking area was full. However there were plenty of paid street parking very close to the hotel and I got a spot right in front. Otherwise very nice hotel and helpful staff."

"Absolutely idyllic location, surrounded by greenery with a view down to the lake. Large room in the old part of the castle was clean and beautifully furnished with a large bathroom. The pool is situated in a peaceful part of the grounds and was very relaxed spot to stay with a book. The owners were very helpful and welcoming - we ordered chilled wine on the terrace and a lovely breakfast the next day. Highly recommend staying here."
