"The room was fantastic, spacious with every detail considered. The bed was very comfortable and huge! The bathroom had a separate bath and shower with double sinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Definitely worth a visit! I forgot to mention the food, that was delicious too!"

"Our room, No 6, was fairly compact but it was spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. The modern shower and toilet room was also spotless. The staff were very friendly. We didn't see the option of breakfast so we couldn't have the residents' breakfast which included cereal and more, so we chose breakfast from the menu. It was very good - perfect poached eggs and great tea. We will be going back in the summer."

The owner of the hotel was lovely and very friendly and accommodating e.g. to an early checkout. I ate there one evening and the food was excellent. Breakfast is also very good!"

However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. "Lovely hotel in quiet location overlooking the estuary. Fab bathroom with large tub. Excellent view from my room. Lovely breakfast with great choice of food. It's a shame they don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options in Barmouth centre just 10 minutes walk away though you will have an uphill walk back. Really enjoyed my stay. "

"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...
