Friendly staff. The AC is good, but it needs some cleaning, a good amount of water was dripping and soaked the carpet where the AC was.

The property was obviously older and in need of some upgrade work However, the mgt and/or staff "seemed" to be trying hard to improve things. Also he drove down from an offsite location to do a late check-in for us. All the amenities were functional, the main thing I observed was subpar cleanliness of some items (towels, bedding, etc.). I'm guessing either they are having trouble obtaining sufficient staff, or perhaps the manager is trying to do the work alone. So couldn't call it my "first choice" for staying in Cortez, but it was there when we needed it (and didn't have to fight with elevators or long flights of stairs, which is very difficult for my spouse to deal with).

When I booked this place on Expedia I looked at the pictures well.It was somewhat clean.But the reason I picked this is the photos showed Roku Tv but it did not. So if this is important to you don’t stay here.

Staff awesome. Room older but clean and property quiet at night. Close to Mesa Verda NP and Canyon of the Ancients. Room clean. Older property but could see that the bathroom had been renovated. No smoke detector in room and nothing other than a dead bolt on door but no worries....a chair under the door handle does the trick.

Motel was in town, easy to find, quiet, comfortable, and clean. Managers were very friendly. Restaurants were nearby.

There were dead bugs on the beds. Wall plug outlets are old and loose and you couldn't even plug things into them without the connections coming loose. Some of the lights were burned out and didn't work. Sadly, with just a little basic maintenance and care, this could have been a really nice hotel. The rooms were very spacious and could be made into a very nice accommodation if they were maintained. The building is very old and run down. But it has a ton of potential under the right management.

This is a very sketchy and seemingly run down motel. When I went to turn on the shower after arriving water sprayed sideways because the shower head had not been screwed on all the way. Also there was still hair in the bathtub from the previous person. Also the light above the bed didn't work and there were no outlets near the bed. Bed was clean enough.
