"I hate this flat more than you can possibly imagine. The car park is a joke requiring 87-point turn if you drive in rather reverse in. The communal space is filthy and poorly maintained. The renovation clearly used the cheapest materials & left it mostly unfinished.
Everything is done as cheaply as possible.
Asking for a second set of keys was denied (they are just Yale keys!)
At 7am we were met with most awful howling noise which I initially thought was a building site which turned out to be...

"The hotel consists of two nice, old/character properties which are well-positioned for Clifton. They are well-maintained and clean. It's good that the property has it's own car park within the grounds for around a dozen cars, although I'm not sure why they would charge guests £9 per night to use it.
The staff at breakfast were super and couldn't do enough, and the breakfast itself was good quality / choices. Our Check-in was a mixed experience, as they allocated us a room right at the top of...

"Excellent hotel in a fab location. The only thing that let it down was a poorly organised breakfast with a lot of items run out (and no more available, according to staff) by 9am on a weekend, which is poor.
Be aware that the spa access and breakfast are NOT included in the Expedia rate, which is not made entirely clear on booking. You need to pay extra for these (breakfast approx £12-18pp, spa access approx £15phpp)."

"Was a great value Sunday night booking just for a base. And such good value for money I don’t really want to complain about anything. But one thing I will say is the basic double - the bed was smaller than a standard double, and the spring coil mattress… I hardly slept. Could feel the hard spring coils. "The room we had was spacious, clean well maintained everything you need for a relaxing stay . The room had iron and ironboard, fridge, glasses for drinks. Toiletries very good, shower easy to work . The Air-conditioning was brilliant. Breakfast was very good ,plenty of choice, but one day reduced staff on so service was poor and had to keep reminding staff what we wanted. But that was just once."
