Loved that they had recycle bins throughout the property and separate bins in the villas for organics and other materials. The property and trails were beautiful, the flowers, plants, fish pond and ducks were nice to see. There were lots of birds to see and hear. Overall a great place and cant wait to go back."

"The owner/manager of this property was very welcoming and understanding of our situation and did everything he could to facilitate us on short notice. The pool in the property overlooks a slight hill so it makes for a nice touch. We felt very safe and the place is in a very quiet and serene area. The pool area was pristine for relaxing and swimming. although the restaurant only served breakfast (restaurant was not open lunch & dinner) and the swim up bar inside the pool was not open, staff was readily available at the bar, which is right next to the pool. "I stayed at Lorna’s Cottage for one week. Communications with the property before, during and after were excellent. I was able to check-in early, which was an added plus. Three of the amenities that I look for in this area of the world include good A/C, strong internet and a generally quiet environment. All three were excellent. The only annoyance, which is uncontrollable by the property, was the wake up calls by a group of neighbouring roosters, beginning at 4-5 am. Otherwise, the cottage...

"My husband and I had a great stay at Victory Villa. The room as recently renovated, comfortable, and very clean. The host who met us was very friend and informative. He communicated directly and what to expect when driving to Victory Villa. The road getting up there isn't great, but totally doable in a car whether day or night. For someone with major passenger anxiety, I didn't particularly enjoy the drive. However, it was well worth it once we reached."

"We’ve been staying at the Kariwak since 1993. Not much has changed. It still has a plethora of birds and tropical flowers, the staff is still amazing and the rooms are still clean. If you’re looking for luxury this isn’t for you but it’s beautiful just the same. We still love everything about it 32 years later. "
