Lumley Castle Hotel
What a fantastic place to stay. Reasonably priced. Free parking in the grounds. Castle felt like a museum too. So many things to see and such a lot of history. My solo room was perfect. Breakfast was brilliant. Made to order. Selection of continental breakfast too. Will definitely come back.

Delta Hotels Durham Royal County
We all enjoyed the breakfast. We had meals in the evening two nights of our stay and would like to commend the waiter Mike who went above and beyond on his duties, very attentive, polite and courteous.

Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa
The room we were staying, the decor was tired - not worthy of a 4 star hotel unfortunately. Upon arrival, wardrobe door was hanging off hinges, the wifi receiver box was hanging of the wall - room was also very dark. Station Suites
Was easy to find and a convenient location to access the centre of Middlesbrough, including the football stadium if you are there for a game. Room was good value for money - only comment is it had a small kitchen area but no wardrobe to hang up clothes..,not the biggest issue as it was only an overnight ...
