"Comfortable, room with a nice bed."

"Business/CPD trip. Everything i needed was on the premises. Staff on friday night were very busy, but always attend to your needs. Cottage was squeaky clean. Thank you sooo much! Lively and vibrant Pub (nice to see it so busy ☺️). Dinner and breakfast absolutely delicious. Service outstanding. Hope at some Point (er) 🐾🤩 i will have to come back. Thank you all the staff."

"Our stay at the Lion was excellent. The only complaint was that the door to our room wouldn't lock, but other than that everything was great. I would definitely stay there again. Great location for shopping at Bicester Village and a short drive to Bleinheim Palace. "

"A nice hotel tucked out of the way but close enough to get back to main shopping areas etc. Bougie style of decor and which my gf liked, room was spacious with garden view, was clean and cosy, we had dinner at the embassy restaurant, choosing the Indian food which was pretty good, the thali was a authentic way to serve the food and in all the food was good. Breakfast next day was the usual full English affair which again was good, hotel bar and was fully stocked and even had happy hour on...

"A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !"

Worse, it's STILL shown as an included amenity on hotels.com, more than 1 year after it became no longer available. "Really nice property, great location and friendly helpful staff. The only negative was the shower- the water pressure was so poor and in fact mid shower the water stopped completely 4 times before starting again after 10 or so seconds."

"If you want a good nights sleep don’t go here . Not the owners fault early morning bin wagons market setting up . Quality of the room was poor shower door missing hairs on the bathroom floor. Mattress was like a bed of nails"
