"Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. "

"Staff were not entirely helpful. All a bit tired"

"Recently refurbished in an attractive rural style the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. No air conditioning but a remote controlled Dyson fan was provided. The staff without exception were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine but could have done with some fresh fruit on the buffet table. However, when asked we were brought some pineapple which was good. The tables in the bar/restaurant were nicely laid out for dinner with proper napkins!
