"The resort was beautiful, clean, the beach was gorgeous!!!!!!!!! The staff was amazing! I would definitely come here again. It’s not a “party” resort, more of a relaxing chill place to be. The food was good, dessert could use some work… "

"I paid quite a bit to stay there. I think I paid as much, if not more than the Hotel Westin, next door. The Westin looked amazing, because I checked it out. My room at the Playa Azul smelled of mold. I was disappointed."

"Property was beautiful. Beach is small, and you need water shoes in the ocean to save your feet. Staff were friendly, and willing to help. Food was edible but nothing great. Pools were nice, activities were ok. "

"There were heavy rains and the dining room ceilings were leaking. There were so many hungry, wet people that the staff handled with smiles and grace. The staff worked so hard to keep it all going. Kudos to all of them and sincere thanks! "
