We paid for early check-in, but when my husband went to the desk, he was turned away without the employee even checking our reservation. "Very nice stay! This is a small hotel but has everything you need. It is older, so the furnishings can use some updating, but it was extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great, better than some of the bigger hotels we stayed at! It also has a pool which was really nice since we were experiencing temperatures in the 90's. It is conveniently located right near I-85 and is also close to some shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend!"

"My stay at the Holiday Inn on Williamson Road in Roanoke, VA was excellent from start to finish. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, making the entire experience stress-free. The staff went above and beyond by checking in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed. I also appreciated the added security. "Room was excellent, staff was ok, breakfast was not partaken . The construction was not posted online and difficult to navigate. The ability to move luggage was challenging with only two old luggage racks which were unavailable when needed. The cost of the room did not reflect in the original fee even though I requested only hotels that accepted cats. I found this to be unreasonable and poorly handled. I will not return to this hotel. $300. For one night one person was an abomination."
