"Beautiful old Victorian manor house, converted to a hotel ages ago. Excellent room and mordern bathroom. Plenty of free parking. Everything was well maintained. Perfect location for golfers and those exploring the west coast of Scotland. Great restaurant and bar. Lots of interesting choices for dinner. Breakfast was a combination of buffet and table ordering. Staff members were friendly and most helpful."

The pool area lacked signs to know where to get towels, what was the procedure for using the pool, sauna etc., we had to ask. Staff were very helpful and pleasant It would have been useful to have local info provided in our room. Having said all this, we would go back. The food was excellent and catered for my gluten free needs."
