Its was a very hot day when we checked it , No air condition, and when we arrived in the room it was like an oven, They did not have the curtesy to open a window to try and cool down the room before we arrived. and we were given a small fan which all that did was circulate the hot air around the room, Checked the fan and the pat testing sticker was a year out of date. "We were unlucky enough to be staying on the hottest weekend of the year. The Yorkshire is an old and apparently a listed building so there is no air conditioning and boy did we need it checking into the hotel in the middle of a record breaking heatwave with temperatures of 35oC. "Lovely hotel. Immaculately clean and decorated. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and of a good standard. Ample parking and well located. Efficient and friendly staff. Highly recommend this property."
