"The toilet kept clogging up in our room and our room smelt like dog pee! Did not realize it was a pet friendly hotel, until the next day when we heard dogs barking. Everything was seriously dated and showed serious wear and tear."

"The hotel and room were clean. I just had to clean the filters of the A/C ventilation system in the bathroom sink and then spray it down with Lysol. This should be a standard cleaning routine by the housekeeping crew. The outdoor pool was a great amenity as we used it when the beach at Sullivan Island was too windy. "We really liked our stay here. Amazing location. Close to all good grocery stores like Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. 6 minutes away from Naval Museum. 15 minutes away from the beach. We will be back."

"We’ve stayed at this hotel many times and it’s always great. The best part is the breakfast. It’s a FULL breakfast and delicious. We’ve never had issues with anything at this property."

"The breakfast and service was very good! Our room needed a clothing hook repaired and the walk in shower floor was cracked. Other than those things needing some maintenance attention, everything else was just fine. It was a very convenient location for us. I would stay again."

"The pool is an algae green color that was very off-putting to my children. The maid service was absent even after we called the front desk twice to request maid service. Children were running up and down the hallways all night long— which is no fault of the hotel. The beds are horribly uncomfortable."
