"I have stayed at The Pied Bull twice in the last year when visiting from the US. I stayed in 2 different rooms, a twin and then a double, both in the main building. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. The pros are location, being convenient to everything that Chester has to offer including sightseeing, shops and places to eat. The price is also reasonable for being in the city center. The cons are no parking on site, although there are many options within a 10 minute walk from the property....

"After a minor hiccup with our room not having been made up from the previous guests, everything was extremely good. If this is the area you want to stay, this place is highly recommended. "

"To be fair, this is apparently one of the oldest pubs in the area so it's dated interior kept with the theme. The staff were friendly but you might have to wait for service at the bar or restaurant, or reception.
The bar - ran out of draught cider (on an early Friday evening)
The restaurant ran out of sirloin on an early yes you guessed it Friday evening.
There was a definite whiff of ganja on the 1st floor accomodation hallway.
The room was small, hot and the bed had an extremely soft...

"La habitación olía feo. Feo el decorado. No tenía muchos outlets para cargar los electrónicos.
Al hacer el check in estuvimos esperando nos abran por largo rato y estábamos dentro del horario de check in.
Cuando nos fuimos dejamos la tarjeta de la habitación donde nos indicaron. No había personal que te atendiera.
La escalera muy angosta para subir con las valijas."

"A warm friendly welcome from the landlord. Nice room, they don't serve breakfast but leave a nice hamper in the room for a DIY breakfast, nice touch. Very easy access to M54"
