"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful .
Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater .
Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side.

"Disappointed not to get a balcony, especially since the hotel didn’t seem very busy at the time - felt like a room with one should’ve been available. On the plus side, the spa was excellent and a real highlight of the stay."
"This is the second time that I have stayed at the Dragon Inn. Generally it has been good. The only dissapointing thing for me is that breakfast does not start until 8am, which for a work trip is getting a little too late. Also, the cooked breakfast is now an optional extra, whereas in 2024 it was included. The entrance to the car park is dreadful."
"At first we were very disappointed that our anticipated stay at The Manor House was cancelled due to renovations being done just then.
We were given a very nice room with a view over the course and Christchurch Village and every effort was made to make us happy.
We had arrived by train and so on were on foot, but the concierge and the shuttle drivers were very kind, helping us to accomplish all that we had planned for our two days there.
Breakfasts were bountiful and delicious…there was everything we could imagine to choose from.
Although it’s a very large hotel, we were so impressed by how all the staff make a guest feel welcomed and cared for.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
"Such a convenient location. Literally 5 mins from the main road and feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Hotel is bright and modern. Contemporary design with great food. Having EV charging is a great bonus."
"Nice and quiet hotel close to town. Good parking space and electric car charging points ( we did not use them, but in case you need it, there are 2 if I remember correctly ). Really lovely lady at reception. Staff very helpful. Rooms are decent size. Quiet. Bed very comfortable. Carpets need hoovering, but other than that the room was nice. Breakfast area was comfortable and clean and there was choice between hot and cold options. I have struggled a bit with the breakfast, as I am not a fan of processed food, however my partner enjoyed it. I guess it's a matter of preference and I am fussy lol, so do not let this put you off. You will not be hungry :-) We will be coming back to stay here."
"We had room 24. Could watch the house martins nesting while lying in bed.
Amazing history. Needs some refurbishment but not surprising in an older property and everything worked.
Enjoyed spa facilities.
Staff were really helpful although not always accessible when needed.
Excellent restaurant in Usk (Wallace steakhouse although not cheap)
Seemed to be limited to one key per room.
Overall we spent a couple of really nice nights (B&B) there."
