"This hotel has a lot of bad reviews and frankly I don't get it. The staff was helpful and friendly, calling us a cab at 5 am for our early flight. The room had very nice amenities including a smart TV, a toiletry kit, mini fridge and free water bottles. We had massive windows that overlooked the main road which yes of course was noisy but that's to be expected at an hotel right next to an airport. "Rooms are cleaned and attended to, however, due to poor ventilation there is evidence of black mold in the washroom. Outdoor patio area, not tidy or appealing, glassware left from other guests, several bulbs burnt out on the patio, not attended to as to make it an area a guest would want to visit or hang out at. Front staff, not very knowledgeable of attractions or events to guide a tourist. Breakfast was well stocked and varied. Natural on this place as it does only what is needed...minimum...

"Most breathtaking view. There was a wedding going on big party. Hard to get to narrow streets. The pool was closed and after being told the hot tub was 24 hrs it was closed in the morning. Breakfast was great, dinner not so much. "

"The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooftop terrace Sky Bar was a lovely place for an evening drink. The hotel is well located to reach Vesuvius National Park, Pompeii and Herculanium using the public bus or the train. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Marad."

"The area was in the industrial zone. Not a great area but close to the metro trains. You should see the out area before you book. The gym is closed, the patio deck also closed, a lot of Reno. Kind people but I would not stay there again. Bring your own water."
