"We stayed here just as a stop over and it was a very small and low double bed in a huge room. It wasnt the cleanest so I was glad I had slippers with me. Shower ceiling was too low for a 6'2 person so my partner had to crouch. The main parts of the hotel looked nice on arrival, but we didnt make use of it. Nice and quiet despite the location."

"Excellent room, we had an executive suite and the view was marvellous as was the huge four poster bed. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best we've had, proper cumberland sausages - what can I say!. Staff were also excellent especially Joanne the manager who went above and beyond to make our 4 night stay very enjoyable. We had 2 meals in the hotel pub and again the food was of a very high standard, one meal was a sunday roast which I found absolutely superb. Will definitely stay here...

"Yes the staff was friendly my husband had a medical emergency staff did up and beyond there duty had the same room for extra nights while my husband was in hospital couldn’t do enough in making my still was saved and se cure .Did not get to the spa but I would books holiday there again in a heart beat.breakfast had lovely options "

"A lovely traditional style home in a fantastic location. Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and a nice spa. A very good breakfast included. Free parking Location and view are fantastic, with a couple of mins walk to the Windermere cruises dock, with easy access to Bowness and Ambleside. There are several nice walks in the local area. The rooms are a little dated/traditional in style, and the bathrooms could use a little refurbishment but the room was very comfy and well ventilated. No...

"Great views from the hotel over Morecambe Bay. Parking if you travel by car . Electric charging available too at the hotel . Grange railway station is a short walk across the road . Unique hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We didn't dine at breakfast, therefore can't comment on breakfast menu . "
