Club Mahindra Puducherry Stay

It was nice stay, however, check in was time taking, we needed to wait for almost 30 minutes without any valid reason. I feel they can easily improve on it.

It's a clean beach resort with private access to a remote beach- good for detox and relaxation.

Happy New Year!! I am not a Mahindra club member. I had my eyes on this property for a while.A difficult place to book through online travel agencies - its always sold out. Had booked through Expedia. Stayed at this property with family in couple of rooms for 1 night (2nd Jan check in and 3rd Jan check out).Had opted for the half board option - dinner and breakfast buffet included in the initial booking cost. The property is tucked away about 2.4 km away from the ECR and has the beach as it's backyard. Check in starts at 1400 and check out next day at 10 am. Kid and wheel chair friendly property. Staff at sea shellz (the restaurant were lunch, dinner and breakfast buffets were served) and in the property are well trained and very helpful. Facilities in the room were adequate and satisfactory. This is a beach side resort. Unlike traditional hotels, rooms are not stacked vertically but pairs are tucked away in the privacy of dense foliage. What can be improved: Check in experience at front desk can be improved. Questions can be tailored to improve the check in experience. Taste of food in general can be improved. Would have become difficult for me if I had chosen to stay longer. At the ice cream station, provide a water bucket to dip and clear the ice cream scooper.

Thumbs High Location is good with the private beach access though restricted after 5.30 PM. lots of greenery inside the resort. Recreational activity inside the resort is okay. BF is passable not much continental stuff though Thumbs Down Quality of room not worth its price. Toiletries of very poor quality very poor condition of room flooring...can see the cracks everywhere Resort charges additional Rs 50 for room service (just food delivery). Couldn't notice life guard around pool area. No internet/WIFI in the room.

Good relaxing weekend.

The hotel is good if you want to relax. The rooms are clean. The service is excellent. The housekeeping subscribed to star sports channel which was not available in the room as we requested for it to watch the India v/s Pakistan world cup match . the buffet was good. room service can be improved taste wise. the lake in the property is not maintained well. The green colour water is unpleasant. It has to be maintained. except for that the property is good.

Amazing property... just need some in room upgrade

I went with my family for 3 nights. Amazing location, beautiful beach and extraordinary staff! What needs a little attention is the condition of rooms. I guess they converted it from Zest resort to regular Club Mahindra one, so it might be work in progress. I got a good room with huge balcony, view was good, but there was no proper wardrobe, dining table or other in room amenities (Microwave etc. which is really needed when you are traveling with a kid!). Having said that, I will visit again due to staff and the activities they conduct.

Comfortable beds and Clean Beach

Loved everything about the resort but the food service is very late,even for bowl of french fries..It took them 45 minutes and food tastes very average only!!Other than that..Everything is a big plus in the resort...Very family friendly!!

Decent hotel near the beach but it has problems

Hotel is located at nice location, but maintenance is very bad. Car parking lot is doesn't have flooring Bath rooms are not well designed. There is a transparent glass door from the behind which looks scary. Lawns are not maintained at all.. Overall not great but just average.. Not worth the buck we pay for..

Hotel Stay at Mahindra club

Good ambience & good atmosphere. Better if there had been more holiday activities conducted by Facility management. Water sports(jetsky ,Parasailing) could be a better idea attraction for the travellers

Pas besoin de sortir du club

Club très agréable, situé à l'écart de Pondichery (15minutes de voiture) derrière un petit village. Plage privée très agréable, piscine ouverte assez tard et nombreuses activités proposées. Accueil souriant et personnel disponible. Repas très bons , nous avions prit la formule buffet, le top, beaucoup de choix, très bonne cuisine et belle présentation, pas trop cher. Idem pour le petit déjeuner, offert. A refaire si nous repassons à Pondichery, nous retournerons avec plaisir dans l'une des autres club Mahindra, ça donne envie de découvrir les autres.

decent hotel but terrible front staff.

The trouble with most hotels is they do not realize the holiday starts the minute you walk in the door and not after you check in. Had a terrible person check us in with no consideration for children or any politeness. The rest of the staff tried hard but overall it was a decent experience for the price you pay.

Hotel club indien sélect et contemporain

Nous étions les seuls touristes blancs mais les touristes indiens étaient très sélect. Le cadre est contemporain et très très soigné. Le restaurant est un peu trop cantine à nos yeux. Le seul gros point noirs est la distance par rapport à Pondicherry: 45min de voitures ! Belle plage et superbes vagues !
