"We absolutely loved our stay at the Steadings! Was a random find on hotels.com and we’re so glad we found it! Really good price for the time of year (December) - we booked in May (roughly). It was decorated for Christmas, and had everything we needed. A rare find but total treat! Would definitely come back and recommend! The only negatives would be the hottub not being covered - this is due to be rectified! And the road down to the lodge is very bumpy - a typical farm road! Make sure you follow...

"This is a lovely B&B very conveniently located within walking distance to town where there are cute shops and very nice dining options. Our room was large and very nicely appointed with high-quality furniture and antiques. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Jennifer and Mark are wonderful people who truly care about their guests. "Fraoch House is a sweet place. It's older and has charm. Matthew the host was solicitous and eager to please. We had breakfast one morning and it was excellent. Our room was adequate. Lack of a plug convenient to one side of the.bed and.odd chairs that tipped over when we sat in them were drawbacks. The location was a disappointment. "The guest house is located in a quiet residential area a block away from a commercial road and easily accesible to/from the city centre. The bus stops are right in front of the house and it only takes 15 mins to get to the centre. The house is nicely decorated and very clean. The room we got was spot on with everyting needed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom looked newly renovated. Ms. Margaret (host) is wonderful and very eager to help with anything you might need. "
