"Great service wonderful gardens and a tranquil oasis"

"Great location for a wee break. Short walk from lots of great cafes, restaurants and the water front. The room was spacious, clean, balcony, comfortable beds, nice shower, plenty hot water. Complementary drink at the hotel bar was a nice touch although the hotel draught beer wasn’t the best! Breakfast had lots of lovely fresh fruit, unfortunately not fresh fruit juice but good choice of cooked options, breads, pastries etc. All in all would definitely recommend."

"We have stayed at the Pestana Lido every time visiting Madeira. It has the best location, wonderful staff and excellent food and drinks. You are literally surrounded by amazing ocean views from every room. We love the personal service due to its smaller size hotel. "

Possibilité de diner au restaurant de l'hôtel avec une cuisine locale et de qualité, l'équipe du restaurant est très sympathique et serviable. Le jacuzzi était parfait après une journée de visite, si la piscine était aussi chauffée cela aurait été un plus. Merci pour l'accueil, à recommander."

"Absolutely perfect hotel. Staff were incredibly kind. The room was spotless when we arrived and spotless every day when we got back after house keeping. The bed was comfortable and huge with great pillows. The towels were big and white and fluffy. The bathroom was great. The tv had games on it. The kitchen had everything you could need with complimentary cold filtered water, fruit, croissants every morning and jam. They sent up a bottle of Prosecco as it was my birthday with a sweet note.
