Whilst the room was amazing and spacious, there were several issues.
A- there was construction going on below us and it was terribly loud and relentless- going til midnight and starting again at 4 am. The hotel never notified us. We could not enjoy any ambience even in the room it was so loud. Our children and myself had trouble sleeping.
B- staff never got around to sending the membership and I had asked three times.
c- staff were not friendly, several times at breakfast staff actually pushed past me and almost knocked me over. I am not used to this. The cleaning staff however, were friendly and wonderful.
Whilst the pool and room facilities were wonderful, we were dissappointed by these factors. I know construction is necessary but the hours were ridiculous. The water park was great however and we will come back, but stay for a shorter amount of time. The onsen on the balcony was great but wish the yelling of construction workers and the smashing noises would have ceased at times.
