Staff and service very good. Hotel had good facilities and was in good shape. Only thing that was really annoying was the parking fee, I get it if you're in the middle of a city you have to keep spaces for the residents, but this isn't the case with this location,.

Pacific Edge Hotel
The beach view was amazing clean room very close to the downtown area. Great location. Wish the pool was beachfront though.

Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel
The dining room offered a minimal menu but my order - salmon, mash potatoes and vegetables - was excellent. The breakfast buffet was bountiful and fresh. My only negative comment is that the water pressure in myshower was poor.
