Unfortunately our room had issues with hot water - couldn’t take a shower for longer than 8 mins or so without it going cold. Happened three different times at three different times of the day. Housekeeping also entirely skipped our room one day which was a bit of a disappointment after coming back from a long day of walking and looking forward to crawling into a comfy, clean bed. "Meh. This property needs some love. Worn carpets, front door on the fritz, leaky ceiling in the breakfast area, broken Nespresso machine, ice maker not working. The buffet was pretty sad - lukewarm coffee, waffles that were barely edible, and just generally not worth the price. I’ve stayed at the other AC Mariott in Somerville and it was MUCH better. Likely won’t book again. On the upside, it’s located next to a lovely walking path. "

Screaming couple outside of parking lot and almost got accosted by an old lady in the grocery store that was recommended by the staff. No shower gel or shampoo, and paid over $600 for two nights. Totally insane. Price gouging at its finest. "

"The staff were very nice and helpful and the room was perfect. I do wish that the breakfast started a half hour earlier so we could have taken advantage of it but I did have time to grab a quick coffee on the go and it was excellent as well. Highly recommended. "

"For sure my favorite hotel in Boston's Back Bay. It has an old world feel like it has been around for a long time but also updated and good value if you don't come peak seasons like graduation time or the holidays. Super convenient and walkable to so many shops and restaurants. The Lindt chocolate shop is literally in the same building on the ground level and at check in the hotel puts a small bag of 6 chocolate truffles on your pillow, that is like 5$ worth of chocolates as a bonus gift to...
