"The stay was overall positive. Check-in was fine and I was attended by a gentleman who was very helpful. There was another gentleman who had poked his head from out of the back room (behind the counter) just to greet me which was nice. I asked for a late checkout and had no issue. During checkout is where there was a bit of a shift from the attitude that had been received up to that point. I was attended by lady who's demeanor was somewhat muted which really isn't an issue per se. Different, but not bad. It was when I asked for the print out that the attitude went from muted to annoyed. It's unfortunate because everything had been great up to that point. Asking for the printed receipt has never been an issue at any place I've ever stayed at, domestically or abroad so that was a little confusing. I was the only one at the desk too, so again, I'm unsure what it was that put her out. To the point that when given the receipt, I said thank you and she simply walked away. The place itself is indeed dated. You'll notice it in common areas and in the rooms. That said the room was clean, comfortable, and met my needs during the stay. It's in a good location close to food joints and shopping. I suggest the small Mexican food spot that is next to the Hotel's parking lot. The food is good and the people are nice."
