"We have really liked this hotel. It’s close to Hofstra and close to the LIRR Mineola station, as well as a very short walk to Roosevelt Field Mall. A couple of weird things: the hallway outside our room was very cold (here during odd cold snap in late April), and there is no place to hang up towels. I’m glad to reuse our towels but not if they have to be scrunched into a cubby. There need to at least be hooks in the bathroom. I also noticed there is no disposal in the kitchen sink, if that...

"We were a late arrivval and tired. Wanted to sleep and not worry. Eventhough it said non smoking we could smell it, especially in the restroom. The mattres covers were dirty and one of the covers had stains. Thankfully we had our own cover and we just wanted to rest. I am so glad it was just for one night. I will not stay there again. "

"The whole establishment smells like smoke, even the nonsmoking rooms. We asked to be transferred to a room without carpet which was slightly better. The fire alarm went off for almost an hour at 4am and we stood outside. TV didn't work. Room cards needed to be reprogrammed after the first night, we all got locked out. Management was pleasant and tried to rectify the problems, but it was a bad situation as the Wyndham is trying to update this Ramada. The whole property smells like marijuana or...
