"Could not recommend Hotel Residenz Schrannenhof enough! From literally the moment we walked in, we were treated like family and felt fully and wonderfully taken care of. They allowed us to check in early so we could nap after our long trip from the US, given recommendations on restaurants/bars and info on train tickets, and the breakfast was amazing every morning! The staff are incredible and our room was big and perfect. Plus, the hotel is literally right across the street from the train...

"Although a little distance from the town centre, the apartment was only a few minutes walk to train, tram and bus stops, so it was very convenient. Hofer (Aldi) supermarket across the road and plenty of restaurants and takeaways nearby.

"So the room was very clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy as was check-out. There are two supermarkets very close making it very easy to buy supplies. It’s 2 minutes walk to the U4 so very convenient for the centre of Vienna. Rooms were quite with good curtains so this did not hamper sleep. Our only criticism was that the corridors were slightly unpleasant smelling but this didn’t affect the room."
