Agnes was an AMAZING hostess and the apartment was even better than we had imagined - wonderful location for everything we wanted to do and very comfy to return to after a long day. "Both the neighborhood and hotel are extremely charming (though the narrow, steep stairs are a surprise for an American! You can always use the elevator!) The street has lovely large trees. Museums are minutes away on foot, as are canals. We did experience disturbing street noise late at night when we stayed in a room facing the street (loud yelling, revving motorcycles, etc.), but another room facing the back was very quiet.
