"This property is far superior to most Residence Inn sites. It looks like it was previously a mid to high end property. I think it may even be better than it's sister property, Marriott, across the street; it also has better amenities, like free breakfast and cheaper parking fees."

The food was delicious, with a great variety of flavorful options to choose from. The pool was very clean and well cared for, making it a relaxing place to unwind. "On site restaurant food was not good. Took a long time to get food and when we finally received food, it was cold. Parking spots are not wide enough. Cars are parking on top of each other. My truck was hit by a car and they left without saying anything. No exterior cameras to see who did it. Neighboring room had a full blown domestic going on. Had to call security."

"AC wasn’t working in the gym and was very hot. Pool ms and hot tub were great. Staff was very professional and on top of everything. Bathrooms could have been bigger and queen beds weren’t a true queen size."

"We had an amazing stay at the Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla over the Fourth of July weekend! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional. "Property location is great. One mile easy walk to beach. We walked there every day. Also directly across street from Del Mar fairground. Hotel itself is fine! Needs a little updating - our room was spacious. Suite was perfect size for family with kids. TVs are old school- no smart TVs. Paper guides for local channels. And our phone in our room didn’t work at all to call front desk etc. also there is only one elevator on each side. Not a small hotel so our walk with all our stuff from our car...

"The room was clean, lobby was clean but the staff is why I'd go back. I goofed and checked in a day after my booked day. I entered the wrong check in date when I was building my booking. I get there and the front desk made it feel like it wasn't a problem, and had my room still ready and just moved my check in-check out date. They made me feel like I was a 10 year guest and not just passing through. I'm staying there again when I'm in the Del Mar area."

The only complaint was having to pay for parking since it was an open lot. It was very family friendly and very clean. We would stay here again if needed for a work or trip"
