"This pub was a great stop for us following a day of walking the SWCP. Very peaceful even though it is a pub. It is approximately 1 mile from Perranunthnoe, and SWCP. Bus 2 runs from right outside so ideal for connections to Penzance and Porthleven. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely return."

"If want to experience a stay in a unique local hotel, this is it. The building is Victorian, and the environment is comfortable but not trendy. Not everything matches or was updated in the same year, but that is what makes it feel more homey to me. They could probably do with some bathroom upgrades, but everything worked fine and truly that’s all you need. "Very clean rooms and friendly hosts. It was quite cool in the evenings with heating only on in the mornings and there was no communal lounge area to sit in so we felt we were confined to our bedroom. "

"Breakfast was basic but ok. The spray you're using to clean the bathrooms and wipe down the tables has an unpleasant smell. Room was clean but a bit tired- curtain rail damaged and repaired with a bulldog clip. The view was excellent. "

"Location location location. It is right in St Ives on the beach. Work out facilities were dated. Loud music playing with no consideration for guests working out. The restaurant is not a destination. Many other better options in the area. A watch out. If traveling with lots of luggage get ready for a strenuous pilgrimage from the train to the hotel up a winding path with stairs."

"Good location and great if you are travelling to area with out a car. Flat was clean and comfortable but with a little attention to detail could easily be elevated to a really good flat. Entrance needs a good clean and paint and better street signage on the door. Shower very temperamental, scalding hot or freezing cold. Outside area could be easily do with a bit of attention. Seems as if the owner has lost heart and passion in this lovely little flat. "

They reserve the tables for the local people. We were seated in the pub section close to the bar even though all other tables were empty. We arrived at 4pm, it was empty. We ended up between two wet and smelly dogs and getting poked by the gentleman standing at the bar behind us. The server was oblivious...
