"We stayed here for business meetings. The hotel is very convenient for Toowong and the rooms are spacious and clean. Our stay was very comfortable, and the staff friendly when we arrived. There are a variety of restaurants and bars close by the property and you can also catch a ferry down the river to Brisbane City Centre."

"If you are going to Suncorp Stadium or a Caxton Street venue like Lefty's Music Hall, this is the ideal place to stay. Arrive early to ensure limited hotel parking because the only other option is The Barracks which is very expensive. There are two sets of lifts in the carpark - one goes to the function area and the other to hotel reception, so make sure you read the signs. We checked in a little early and I agreed to stay in an accessible room as our room wasn't ready. Good air-con, comfortable...

"Everything from check in to check out, the staff were amazing! Our room was clean, property was clean and guests were also friendly. The rooftop patio and bar were great! The gentleman that served us both nights was pleasant and welcoming. Being in our mid 50’s we weren’t too sure if this accommodation was going to suit us. We are so thrilled that we booked our stay at the YHA! "

"Absolutely filthy and unhygienic! From grimy, moldy bathrooms to floors that look like they have never been cleaned. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Everything just felt extremely dirty and dusty. "

"The difficulty with this accommodation is that it sits between one-way streets. The entry is in one street and the car park in another. I did appreciate having the car in secure parking. When it was time to leave I had to find a way to get out of the carpark, which I needed the key for and then travel a few blocks in order to come in via the one-way streets to hand in the key via the other entrance. I did suggest that the hotel considers putting a key deposit box at the exits for the car parks....

"This was the best price we could find on the Southbank. We knew we would hardly be there , so weren’t looking for luxury. It seemed kind of sketchy when we first arrived, and I had my doubts. However, the linens were clean, it was very walkable to all the fun locations we wanted to see, it was great to do a quick load of laundry, and the staff was very nice. A good place for passing through. "
