"Nothing fancy just a very comfortable and functional place if you’re in town for a longer stay. Excellent Thai restaurant in the lobby. Taringa is a good little neighbourhood. The metro stop is right behind the hotel - you can get downtown in 10 minutes. Note: building is shared by doctor’s offices. Apartment style hotel rooms are on the floors above."

"The room was filthy. I arrived late otherwise would have requested another room. I raised upon check out the next day and got a loose apology. Not good enough and a total dissapointment for $330 a night."

Waĺls grubby, finger marks and grime. Paint peeling in bathroom, kitchen cutlery/crockery etc missed matched, 2 forks 3plates 2 teaspoons etc. Bathroom very poor condition, dirty grout corrosion in shower screen, dirty glass and vanity. "Everything from check in to check out, the staff were amazing! Our room was clean, property was clean and guests were also friendly. The rooftop patio and bar were great! The gentleman that served us both nights was pleasant and welcoming. Being in our mid 50’s we weren’t too sure if this accommodation was going to suit us. We are so thrilled that we booked our stay at the YHA! "

"The difficulty with this accommodation is that it sits between one-way streets. The entry is in one street and the car park in another. I did appreciate having the car in secure parking. When it was time to leave I had to find a way to get out of the carpark, which I needed the key for and then travel a few blocks in order to come in via the one-way streets to hand in the key via the other entrance. I did suggest that the hotel considers putting a key deposit box at the exits for the car parks....
