"We traveled for 30 days cross Canada to West coast. Stayed in 27 different accommodations. This by far was the best value. Clean well cared for cute and comfortable. The owners take pride in the condition and quality of your stay. If you are planning a stopover in Wawa Ontario you have to allow yourself the pleasure of enjoying this motel. 10/10 hands down!"

"Room was dirty. Garbage and socks and dirt under beds. Stains on sheets. Not sure if I got the worst room there. But definitely will try to avoid in the future."

A participant attending training through our organization checked into the hotel and immediately encountered cleanliness concerns, including dirty bedding that required replacement. Photos were taken to document the condition of the room. More concerning, the guest reported an interaction with an individual on the property that left them feeling unsafe and uncomfortable. As a result, they made the decision...

"The rating was high for this property which is misleading. It's very old, dated and things in the room smelled like cigarettes. The room is small. The bed was sagging. The good part is the friendly and welcoming staff. They badly need to upgrade this place."

"Great staff, and very clean rooms, recently renovated. Comfy beds, bedding and pillows. The only downside is that the soundproofing isn’t as robust as some other hotels, but guests were quiet, so it wasn’t an issue. Easy and ample parking. Very easy to find if you’re coming off the highway since it’s on the main drag."

"Older motel, which looked pretty rugged from the outside, but the room was clean & comfortable. The attached restsurant/bar was great & had some interesting characters. Beautiful view of the lake from our room."

"This property is aptly named - The Old Mill Motel. I would add one more word to the name, “VERY” Old and it is in need of either tearing down or a majorly expensive update! The only good thing about the room was a comfy bed, when really, if you are on a really tight budget, that’s all that matters. The problem is there is little to choose from in Blind River. The room was clean, but as basic as you can get. Room 21 appears to be sinking in the middle, as there is a definite slope to the room!...

"What a great place!! Owners and staff are top notch. Easy check in. Great food. Lodge is roomy with a lounge, pool table and several dinning tables aswell as a tackle and merch shop area. Clean cabins. Feels like your experience really matters to them. Great atmosphere to be in and unwind. Launched our boat with ease. This Lake system is amazing. Huge cliffs, beautiful waterfalls and streams surrounded by hills topped with massive wind swept pines.Looking forward to our next trip up. Cant come...
