The front desk attendants were very pleasant and welcoming, although not always available at the desk (didn't bother us though). The room was spacious and very clean. There is a clean fridge with small freezer and clean microwave that was nice to use. They seem to have done their updates in a smart way: the bathroom fixtures were an outdated color but clean and in perfect...

"It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. Didn’t know that until the day we left...

"the place at 2185 st;john river rd in fort kent maine is a scam .... we drove up 135 miles rite to the address found a bunch of old abandon buildings I took a video of the place will be letting credit card co deal with it scam scam"

"Stay was good. The loacation is very nice and it worked very well for where we needed to be. The place could use some minor fixing up and maybe some fresh exterior painting. We wrapped our work up there a day early but paid for the full 11 days. Wish there could have been a way to get reimbursed for thate last day that we didn't stay."
